Red Tent Women's Circles

I came across the book, The Red Tent by Anita Diamant years back and fell in love with the idea of facilitating my own Women's Circles. I did for awhile, and the experience of connection and bonding was ineffable.
Have you ever considered hosting a women's circle?  The rules are simple...
1. There is usually a facilitator but no one person is the leader; we all lead equally.
2. Listen without offering your opinion or advice; unless the person speaking, requests it on their own.

Our Women's Circles were a vessel for women to commune together, feel held in their vulnerability, bond with each other and be heard; sharing our stories and speaking our truth without judgement, criticism or advice. A safe space to celebrate our awesomeness, forgive our weaknesses and for deep soul discovery. A space where we can embody the feminine; relax, soften and feel ourselves again.
Dripping with Ritual, Ceremony and Authentic Connection. So many things can be uncovered while in circle. You only go as deep as you choose to and you experience a remembering of the answers that have always been deep within you. You find healing in speaking your truth and healing in hearing others speaking theirs. You realize you aren't alone and you understand others and connect to them at a deeper soul level.

People today are rarely in touch with themselves. They act out of their assigned roles... husband, wife, son, daughter, worker, team player... but they almost never come in contact with the true nature of their beings.
We have all been isolated from each other. Taught at a young age to take pride in our independence. This separation causes loneliness, depression, disease and patterns of abuse. In circle we discover 'oneness' with our sisters. When one of us has a breakthrough we all feel the enlightenment and share in her discovery; when one of us has a breakdown we all experience an opportunity to heal our inner wounding. Together, we learn that we don't have to give up our sense of self to be a part of the whole; the oneness. Here we can tear down our ego, our defenses and our hang-ups that have been getting in the way of the Real You. We can break patterns of mistrust and jealousy, we can celebrate each of us for our own uniqueness and heal the divide between women. Together we will discover our lost need for sisterhood. Together we can heal our broken sisterhood bonds, one circle at a time.

"There's always room at our circle. You can sit with us!"
